Practice Archery Range
The Wichita Archery Inc. archery range consists of a practice area with ground mounted targets ranging from 10 yards to 70 yards. These targets are for use only with target points or field points. The firing line is located at the north side of the picnic area and accommodates up to 18 shooters. Crossbows, broadheads, flight shooting or lofting is NOT PERMITTED at any time.
14 Field Targets
Field archery is a roving archery game in which successive targets are shot at varying distances. The game was created as a practice round for bow hunters, but was soon standardized as a competitive round for any archer to enjoy. In a way, field archery is analogous to golf, as is sporting clays analogous to field archery; that is, each "target" is different, and you move from "hole-to-hole." Learn more
